Hallo, liebe Showdown-Community,
diese Nacht erreichte uns die Einladung zum 5. BSC-Prague Showdown-Cup vom 9. bis 13. Juni 2021.
Hierbei handelt es sich um ein IBSA-Turnier.
Gespielt werden soll an 3 bis 4 tschechischen Platten. Es wird mit schwedischen Bällen gespielt werden.
Der 5. Prague Showdown-Cup findet in einem neuen Sport-Center in Nymburk (ca. 80 km von Prag entfernt) statt. Unterbringung und Verpflegung sowie die Spielstätten sind nunmehr somit also unter einem Dach.
Aufgrund der begrenzten Anzahl an Schiedsrichtern sowie möglicherweise unerwarteten Einschränkungen infolge der Corona-Pandemie gibt es eine Teilnehmer-Begrenzung:
- 12 – 15 Frauen
sowie
- 20 – 25 Männer
Wie die „Anti-Corona-Maßnahmen“ während des Turniers ganz genau aussehen, wird uns der Veranstalter noch in einer weiteren Mail zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt mitteilen.
Zusätzlich empfiehlt der Veranstalter, sich über das deutsche Außenministerium sowie die tschechische Botschaft in Deutschland über die aktuelle Situation zu informieren.

Teilnehmer-Gebühren:
- 299 € Doppel-Zimmer
- 399 € Einzel-Zimmer
In diesen Preisen sind folgende Leistungen enthalten:
- Unterbringung
und
- Vollpension
(beginnend mit dem Abendessen am Mittwochabend und endend mit dem Frühstück am Sonntagmorgen)
Der Transfer vom Prager Flughafen bzw. Hauptbahnhof nach Nymburk beträgt ca. 80 km bzw. etwa eine Stunde.
Ein Transfer vom Flughafen/Hauptbahnhof nach Nymburk und zurück kann für

hinzugebucht werden.

Invitation to 5th edition of
BSC Prague Showdown Cup 2021
9th to 13th June 2021
Dear friends, on behalf of Blind Sport Club Prague and thanks to our sponsors and partners we are happy to inform you about the fifth edition of international showdown tournament called BSC Prague Showdown Cup 2021 which is to be held at the sports center in Nymburk.
This tournament has ambition to give you the opportunity to take part and earn another points into the official IBSA Showdown ranking. In other words, we want to celebrate showdown even if facing covid-19 challenges. Only B1 to B3 players are allowed to play and current IBSA showdown rules are to be applied.
We plan to play on 3 to 4 tables of Czech producer. All the showdown tables will be on one place at the sports center Nymburk. Estimated number of male players is around 20 to 25 and female players around 12 to 15 due to limited number of referee and unexpected covid-19 restrictionc. Swedish showdown balls are to be used.
The tournament is to be held at sports center Nymburk. Accommodation and fullboard will be provided at the same place. This location is situated in Nymburk (80 km from Prague airport, about one hour by minibus).

Our tournament is to be held from 9th to 13th June 2021 starting with Wednesday dinner ending with Sunday breakfast.
Participation fee for accommodation at the sports center and fullboard is 299 EUR per person. In case you need a transport from and to the Prague Vaclav Havel airport or main bus or train station, each person is to pay 25 EUR above the participation fee. In case you wish to have a single room you will pay 399 EUR participation fee.
Fitness, whirlpool, sauna will be on one spot and you can also use outdoor sport facilities – all in one price included in our entry fee policy. Use of the facilities will be possible upon reservation.
Deadline of all binding entry forms is 23rd May 2021 at the latest. You are supposed to send 299 EUR by 31 st May 2021 on the following bank account details:

No refund is accepted after 31 st May 2021 in case you decide to cancel your participation. Any refund will be negotiable only in case the event is to be canceled due to covid-19 restriction.
