Hallo, liebe Showdown-Community,
und hier kommt nun auch schon die nächste Einladung zu einem weiteren internationalen Turnier; Und zwar: Die Einladung zum
3. internationalen Showdown-Turnier „Bernstein von Liepaja“ (Lettland)
vom 8 bis 12. Juli 2020
Anreise: Mittwoch, den 8. Juli 2020
Abreise: Sonntag, den 12. Juli 2020
Bei diesem Turnier handelt es sich um ein IBSA-Turnier.
Diejenigen SpielerInnen, die noch nicht von der IBSA klassifiziert worden sind und nicht in der IBSA-Datenbank erfasst sind, benötigen entweder einen gültigen Startpass oder ein augenärztliches Attest, woraus hervorgeht, dass sie startberechtigt sind (B1, B2 oder B3).
Gespielt wird auf 5 tschechischen Platten.
Sollten sich weniger als 10 Damen für dieses Turnier anmelden, dann werden Damen und Herren nicht getrennt, sondern in einem gemeinsamen Wettbewerb spielen.
Sollte eine/r der angemeldeten SpielerInnen seine Teilnahme an diesem Turnier absagen müssen, so ist eine Rückerstattung der Teilnehmergebühr nur dann möglich, sofern diese Absage bis spätestens 1. Juni 2020 erfolgt. Zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt ist eine Rückerstattung der Teilnehmergebühr nicht mehr möglich.
Die Kosten für
- die Unterbringung
sowie
- Vollpension (von Mittwochabend (Abendessen) bis Sonntagmorgen (Frühstück)
betragen
205 €
Zudem bietet der Veranstalter einen Transfer vom Flughafen/Bahnhof Riga zum Hotel und zurück zum Preis von
20 € pro Person
an. Wenn ein Team aus 5 oder mehr TeilnehmerInnen bestehen sollte, kann sich die Gebühr von den Transfer ggf. noch verringern.
Achtung! Für die Reise nach Lettland ist ein gültiger Reisepass bzw. Personalausweis erforderlich!

Departures
The program may be subject to variations depending on organizational reasons.
- Participation Fee
Participation fee from 8th to 12th July 2020 is 205 EUR
It includes:
- Accommodation;
- Full board from Wednesday dinner to Sunday breakfast.
Transfer fee from/to Riga Airport and Riga Bus or Train Station – 20 EUR/ Person*
*For teams consisting from 5 and more delegates, the transfer price could be lower.
Deadline for registration is 31th march 2020, in order to register you have to send the entry form to amberofliepaja@gmail.com
Participation fee must be payed within 30th April 2020.
In case you decide to cancel your participation, refund is allowed within 1st June 2020; if later, no refund is accepted.
- Transportation
Transfers are guaranteed only from/to Riga Airport and Riga Bus or Train Station, by minibus at scheduled time.
Travel details must be communicated by mail to the Organizers by 1st July 2020.
- VISAS
All the participants must own a valid passport or ID card. European Union citizens do not need a VISA to enter in Latvia. Differently, the Non-European Union citizens have to contact their Embassy in order to achieve the VISA.
- Other Info
This Tournament will be governed by IBSA Rules.
According to the current IBSA Showdown Rules only B1, B2, B3 players are allowed to play. Players who have not been classified by IBSA have to provide a medical document providing their level of visual impairment.
The document with the classified players is available on IBSA’s website.
No time limits will be applied to matches. One point will be awarded for a won match.
Participants will be divided into 2 categories – men and women.
If there will be less than 10 women registered for the tournament, the games will be played combined with men.
The games will be played on five Czech tables with ten referees.
